Deciding to become a Team Beachbody Coach wasn't a super difficult decision for me. I enjoy fitness and I enjoy using the Beachbody products. I receive several visits per day to my website from people searching about the business. Most are wondering if coaching is a scam or if Team Beachbody is a pyramid scheme.
To clear this up, TBB is a real company and the business opportunity is legitimate. You are not tied down if you choose to become a coach. The company even gives you 30 days to try out the business opportunity and get a refund if you realize it isn't for you.
I think many people who want to try it get cold feet for some of the following reasons:
1. Financial investment - Just like any business, there are operating costs. However, unlike the typical business, they are extremely low. $39.95 to enroll as a coach (one time fee), $14.95 monthly for maintenance fees (coach website, shipping, customer service, etc.), and 50PV points (approx. $50 worth of product) per month. Buying $50 of product a month shouldn't be seen as a burden. It is an investment in your health! Besides, how can you recommend products you are not using?
2. Worry about not making money - You don't need to be a professional sales person to run your business. You are not trying to convince people to purchase anything. Your job is to help people find solutions to their health & fitness concerns. When you're a product of the product, it isn't hard to point someone in the right direction by recommending products. We recommend products all the time without being compensated because we genuinely like them. It's the same concept with your business.
3. Feeling they must use the internet to succeed - Yes, the internet is a great resource for marketing your business but it is just another tool. Many coaches find success without using the internet. This is a relationship business. Making friends and building relationships is actually best done in person, not always over the internet.
Running a Team Beachbody business is not hard. It can be fun and rewarding. There is a blueprint that every coach can and should use called the Game Plan. There is also plenty of training available from the company. It won't always be easy but if you stick with it and stay consistent with the Game Plan, success can be within reach.
