Maybe you have recently heard about the Beachbody coaching opportunity and are searching for what exactly it is that a Beachbody Coach does. First it is important to understand more about the company itself. Beachbody is a company that specializes in creating in-home fitness and weight loss solutions. Some of their most popular programs include P90X®, Insanity®, Slim in 6®, Brazilian Butt Lift®, RevAbs®, and more.

Many Independent Beachbody Coaches started off as customers. They were looking to get fit and started using one of the many fitness programs. If you are not familiar with what the Beachbody Summit is, it is basically a huge event put together by the company so that Independent Beachbody Coaches as well as those interested in the opportunity, can come together to network and learn. It is a 3-day event but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend the entire event. I did however drive up to Los Angeles yesterday and took in all of the training sessions which were amazing.

The highlight of the event for me was being finally able to meet my upline coaches in person. They were all so welcoming and it was great being able to connect and talk in a group about our plans for growing our businesses. They are an amazing group of people and it was so worth it to drive up and meet them.

The training sessions were awesome. Honestly, I went in thinking that I knew enough, and I was so wrong. I took a good 3 pages worth of notes on things I want to implement in my own business. Next year, I plan on attending the full event. If you are a coach or are considering the opportunity, definitely attend the summit next year.

If you spend a majority of your workday on the computer like I do, you may run into the same issue I had with business calls. I have been using my cell phone for business but the longer I talk on it, the more problems I began to have. Here are a few that were beginning to annoy me:

1. My phone would get really hot.
2. The conversation would often get cut out or the call drops all together.
3. I don’t like talking over the speaker or holding it up to my ear for long periods.

That means when people dial my new number, it rings me on Skype and I can speak to them through my headset, leaving my hands free to continue typing and navigating the web. It also prevents all of the issues above.

I’m going to try out this service for a few months to see if it works out better for me since I’m always online. I think it will be a good option. When I became a Beachbody Coach, the one thing that stood out while becoming familiar with the business was figuring out what my “Why” was. Ask any Beachbody Coach what their “why” is and they will have an answer. I have several reasons for being a coach but I have yet to blog about them here.

My “Why” (Reasons for Choosing to be a Beachbody Coach)

These are in no particular order.

3. How much will it cost to run this business?
Unlike most businesses, the investment to get started is very low. Here is a breakdown of costs:

$39.95 (One time fee.) – Your sign-up cost. You will receive your Coach Kit, access to your Coaches Back Office, your own Coach Web Site, etc.

$14.95 – Paid monthly for account maintenance (Coaches Back Office, Coach Web Site.)

50PV (personal volume) points per month – These points keep you “active” which means that you will be able to receive commissions and bonuses from the products and memberships you and your team sells, as well as commissions from your own customers. You receive these points from purchasing any of the fitness programs, fitness products, or nutritional supplements of your choice. You are investing in your health!

Keep in mind that your 50PV can also be reached from the sales you make. If you make enough sales for the month that are equivalent to 50PV or more, you aren’t required to purchase any products. Although I make enough points in sales each month, I continue to purchase products because I enjoy using them (particularly Shakeology® – my favorite!)

4. How do I get paid?
Beachbody® pays out weekly and you can receive your earnings via check or direct deposit.
