Considering Cancelling My Gym Membership

Since joining Team Beachbody, it has really made me take a hard look at whether or not I should keep my gym membership. I really do enjoy the gym and it is what helped me to love fitness the way I do today. However, I am at a point in my life now where I don't need the gym to be a part of my reason for working out.

I like exercising and running in particular. 90% of the time I am running on a treadmill at the gym when I can do that for free outside. I don't particularly use many of the weight machines because I lift free-weights at home. Now that I will be dedicating myself to some of the Beachbody fitness programs, I really don't think I need my gym membership any longer.

Besides, I can use that extra money and put it towards something else. I believe the gym has served it's purpose in my life. Not only that but I will save on gas with the driving back and forth since I can workout for free. I work at home and being able to pick up and run outside or pop in a DVD is much more efficient use of my time.

I think I have reached my conclusion then. It's time to cancel the gym.
