
Let's face it, most of us are pressed for time and chances are, we don't have a lot of space or interest in workouts that require a ton of exercise equipment. The original Insanity workout doesn't require any equipment at all. That's right, zero gear. No dumbbells, no resistance bands, just your own body weight. The workouts are based on interval training that utilizes your own body as resistance. You don't need very much space but I can tell you from my own experience, you will be pouring in sweat! It is actually one of my favorite programs because you just pop in the dvd and get going.
P90X (Very Little Equipment Necessary)

I recommend P90X as compared to the sequel P90X2 simply because the latest release does require a bit more equipment. With the first program, you can get away with using just resistance bands. However, with the newest release, you're better off using what is recommended, although you do not need to purchase every single piece of equipment that is used.
