I haven't really gone into much detail about getting paid with Beachbody® so I'm going to highlight a few quick points below. First off, I received my first Beachbody® payment (commission) via direct deposit last week. Let me tell you, having direct deposit set up with them is nice. You don't have to wait for a check in the mail and then wait for it to clear after you deposit it.
Second, as you know (or may not know), Beachbody is a network marketing company. Many people hear network marketing and immediately think, "it's a scam!" Network marketing isn't a scam, however, there are companies out there who have representatives that run scammy businesses. That gives good companies a bad name so when people hear "network marketing" or "MLM", they immediately think of scams.
It's a Real Business
I'm the first to tell you Beachbody® is not a scam. I wouldn't waste my time and I sure as heck wouldn't be using the products and sharing them with people. Even if being a coach ended up not being the right fit for me personally, I am free to quit. However, that is not the case because I am having fun, losing this unwanted weight, and making money in the process. Best of all, I get to help people do the same thing. It's a win-win in my opinion.
Network marketing is simply direct sales and building a network of people who want to have a home based business as well. Direct selling any of Beachbody's products is no harder than what you do on a regular basis in terms of word-of-mouth advertising. When was the last time you recommended a good book, movie, or funny web site? You direct sell almost every day without even realizing it. The only difference is you are not paid for your efforts.
Why I Like This Business
It is easy for me to like this business because it helps me stay accountable for my own fitness while helping others to get off of the couch and get their workout on as well. I am the first to say that growing this business isn't easy. Just like any other business, it takes work. How much you put in will determine your success. However, that isn't to say that I am not enjoying the journey. I am having fun with this - so much so that it doesn't feel like work to me.
You don't have to sell these products. You simply have to use them and share your success. That is all I do and have done to earn the commissions that I have. I am happy to help anyone learn how I've done it once they are a part of my network. Success is a team effort and being an Independent Beachbody Coach means helping everyone in your organization achieve their goals.
