Your First Steps as a New Coach
I’m sure you are wondering what you need to do first as well as what your investment will be for starting your new business. It is very low compared to the average cost of starting a business.
Here is the breakdown:
$39.95 – Your sign-up cost. You will receive your Coach Kit, access to your Coaches Back Office, your own Coach Web Site, etc.
$14.95 – Paid monthly for account maintenance (Coaches Back Office, Coach Web Site.)
Activate Your Coach Status
Being “active” means that you will be able to receive commissions and bonuses from the products and memberships you and your team sells, as well as commissions from your own customers.
In order to be an “active” coach, you must place an order for Beachbody products totalling 50PV (Personal Volume Points.)
50PV (personal volume) points per month – These points keep you “active” which means that you will be able to receive commissions and bonuses from the products and memberships you and your team sells. You receive these points from purchasing any of the fitness programs, fitness products, or nutritional supplements of your choice. You are investing in your health!
Keep in mind that your 50PV can also be reached from the sales you make. If you make enough sales for the month that are equivalent to 50PV or more, you aren’t required to purchase any products. Although I make enough points in sales each month, I continue to purchase products because I enjoy using them (particularly Shakeology® – my favorite!)
Why Buy Products?
Part of being a Beachbody Coach means being able to recommend various products and answer questions pertaining to the different products. Chances are you are already taking supplements and the best part is their products are top notch. As a coach, you get 25% off ALL Beachbody products.
Choosing a Workout Program
Another important component of being a coach is using one of the many in-home fitness programs. As a coach you have the opportunity of ordering the Showcase Pack. It includes 6 of Beachbody’s top selling programs:
Plus the B Lines® Resistance Bands, weighted gloves, and a Squishy Ball. All of those programs and the bonus accessories are valued over $400. Coaches price is $199.95!
You are not required to order the Showcase Pack but it is highly recommended! You will have a variety of workouts to use and it serves as a reference library to share with others.
