Setting a Workout Schedule

One thing I am quickly starting to realize is that I need to create a workout schedule and do my best to stick to it. While I have been exercising at the same time every morning, for some reason, when Friday hits, my schedule starts to get thrown off. It isn't a bad thing but the start of the weekend means spur of the moment lunch dates, errands, etc.

I started my morning taking it easy rather than working out right away as usual. By the time I planned on working out, I was invited to lunch with a loved one and I didn't want to pass it up. After lunch, I had so much work to do, I couldn't stop to exercise. Once I was done working, I had to go out again.

The evening rolled around and friends came over. I ended up making today my off day instead of my planned day off tomorrow. It isn't a huge deal but it goes to show that if you don't create a workout schedule and stick to it, your day can get away from you.

I absolutely agree! It’s best to plan your day around your workout. Sometimes, well most times, they end up changing and you just have to go with the flow. Do you workout in WOWY?
