One Thing I Didn’t Mention

One thing that I do want to point out that I didn’t mention in the video is that it doesn’t take any special skills to become a coach and build your business. The main difference between me and the coaches in my network is that I learned about the opportunity before they did. Anyone who has a desire to stay fit and build a homebased business can do this. You will eventually learn how to market your business along the way. It isn’t difficult and in my opinion, it’s actually quite fun.

When you become an Independent Beachbody Coach you join a community of other highly motivated coaches who enjoy fitness, sharing the products, fitness programs, and business opportunities with others. Sound good? Still interested?

One of the most common questions I receive when talking to people about the Beachbody business opportunity is: “How much can I make as a Beachbody Coach?” It is a tough question to answer because everyone runs their business differently. It comes down to an individual’s own effort and how much they want to make.

Some people go into this business to earn a little side money while some want to make it their full-time income. I think a lot of people assume that becoming a coach means that income will come easily.

While Beachbody does have some of the best in-home fitness programs and nutritional supplements, I try to stress that it is a business and there are other things to consider before becoming a coach. While it is a great experience and I am personally having fun with it, I do want to point out what can be expected. Here are some questions to consider asking yourself before becoming a coach.

1. Do you want to improve your own health and fitness?
This should be the number one question you ask yourself because Beachbody is about helping people do just that. You should want to use the fitness programs and nutritional supplements to help you improve your health and fitness. You can’t possibly begin to recommend the products if you are not using them and achieving results yourself. Beachbody has created a system that makes it easy to stay on track with whatever your fitness goals include.

2. Do you have a desire to help other people?
If you want to grow your business, your must have a desire to help people reach their health, fitness, and business goals (if they choose to be a coach.) That is what attracted me to the business because it’s not about constantly pushing products to people who don’t want them. It’s about seeking out people who want to get healthy and are seeking guidance on how to do it. You can help people and in turn grow your business as the same time.

3. Are you disciplined enough to work for yourself?
In order to make any income from this business you have to be willing to put in the time to work on it. A lot of coaches have other jobs, yet they manage to work on their business after work, before work, or on the weekends. Are you disciplined enough to treat your business like a business and not a hobby?

4. Are you willing to learn about network marketing and marketing in general?
No experience is needed to start this business but it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t continue to learn new skills. Beachbody is a network marketing company and there is a learning curve that comes with it. You will need to develop your skills as a marketer. This can include being comfortable speaking to people about your business whether in person or over the phone. You should also learn about online marketing because of the wide reach you have with the internet. It’s a continuous learning process and applying what you learn can help grow your business.

It is a Fun and Rewarding Business

Consider those questions carefully before you make the decision to become a coach. I can tell you from my own experience that it is a fun business to run. I personally enjoy:

• Networking with people
• Using the exercise programs
• Using the supplements (Yay Shakeology!)
• Helping people get back into fitness
• Helping people grow their business
• Marketing my own business
• Making more money (of course!)
