I'm excited about the new fitness program that is being released this summer. Turbo Fire® is a 12-week HIIT (high intensity interval training) program by fitness trainer Chalene Johnson. I watched the product webinar the other day and what stood out for me was:

  • Uses HIIT for faster fat burning.
  • Includes a 5-day inferno plan for weight loss.
  • Includes popular music (about 20 songs.)
  • First Beachbody program to make you feel like you're in an actual class.

What I like most about it is that it is based on HIIT. High intensity interval training has been known to burn fat long after your workout is done. Many athletes use HIIT during their training. Workouts are typically shorter but very intense. The Insanity program also uses interval training but in a slightly different way.

I think those who are already familiar with HIIT will definitely like Turbo Fire. If you are more of a cardio fan like me, then you may also enjoy this workout.
